Apple’s ios 8 was perhaps the most…dare I say it…destructive operating system ever unleashed by Apple. 3 of my iPad’s were for all practical purposes ‘bricked’ after installing 8 and 8.2.

When 8.2 was released in March 2015, immediately after I updated my iPad mini it began exhibiting extreme battery drain and heat issues…so extreme that it too was rendered unusable. Now, roughly 9 months later and in an unanticipated yet really pleasant surprise, the newest ios update…9.2 finally fixed all the problems that 8.2 caused. Continue reading →
